Donor Information
You can turn an obligation into an opportunity.
If you are an individual or business that pays income tax in Georgia, the Georgia Qualified Education Expense (QEE) Tax Credit lets you decide where some of your taxes are spent!
Since 2009, LTS has awarded more than $10 million in scholarships for service to thousands of Georgia students. Every recipient earns their award through community service. This is not charity — it is an investment in students who are demonstrating strong character.
Here’s how to help.
There are different levels of contribution, based on how you file your taxes.
| Tax Filing Status | Tax Credit Limit |
| Single Filer | $2,500 |
| Married Separate Filer | $2,500 |
| Married Joint Filer | $5,000 |
| Individual Pass-Through Owner | $25,000 |
| C Corp, Trust, or Electing Pass-Through | 75% of annual tax liability |
| Business that pays insurance premium tax | 75% of annual tax liability, but credit shall not exceed $1 million |
