Dear Learning to Serve Partners & Friends,

2025 has been a banner year for LTS! What began with one scholarship in 2009 has grown exponentially and become critical to the success of students across Georgia.

This year, we launched a new partnership with the GA Foundation for Agriculture to assist students from farming families that were affected financially by Hurricane Helene. LTS recipients were also very active across the state with hurricane relief efforts and continue to make an impact through their service projects. We also entered our third year of partnering with Caresource of GA to provide scholarships to students from fostering/adoptive families and rural areas, as well as students with learning differences or special needs, and students from Veterans’ families.

As we reflect on the impact of Learning to Serve since 2009, it is humbling to realize that we have awarded nearly $10 million in scholarships. While we can count the “dollars and cents,” we cannot truly measure the value of this partnership or the ripple effect it has had on the lives of our recipients.

None of this would have been possible without YOU! When you direct your tax credits to Learning to Serve, it allows students to partner with their families and invest in their own education by earning a scholarship to help pay for their tuition.

So, let’s kickoff year 17 strong! Each year, the demand for tax credits exceeds availability. We are expecting a 50% pro-rata in 2026, so our goal is to secure $4M in tax credit applications for next year.
